We at Rainbow Studios have recently started a Small Business Network

It currently has a page on facebook and will link to the site shortly.

We are currently running a link & Referral Exchange

This is how it works

Post on the wall , tag the business of the person that referred you, and your own business and a small idea of what each business does

to create an @tag simply type an @ symbol in front of the page name

Facebook Tag Creation

for example,

Hello , we found you via Onyx Cosmetics, come and look at our stuff over at "Your Own Facebook Page"

We will then shout you out to the whole page.

Invite as many people as you can to the page and encourage them to take part in expanding their and by default your network.

Of course we would be grateful if everybody recommended out all they sites the see to those people they thought might be interested. Thats unrealistic though epecially as this page gets busier, but we do expect people to play fair and take part in helping this page to work in the way it should.

This page aims to become a hive of exchanging links through facebook and maximising your potential fan base by reaching as many people as you possibly can simply by recommending pages to those you know.

We will be posting links and articles if we feel they may be useful, I would really like to build a decent community feel to this network and really work together towards success ... i sound like a preacher i know .. apologies .. i'll shush now ;o)

As admin to this page I intend to build this page into a Network that makes the most of any tools and methods as possible in a very back to basics way, Gone are the days when people used to recommend local traders and craftsmen and businesses over the garden fence, The daily grind seems to have killed that off that kind of word of mouth to a certain degree, I believe that we can take that to a whole new level with the beauty of the internet, this is after all a social network site that is morphing slowly into a very useful tool for businesses. As a web designer we are constantly looking for ways to increase peoples opportunities to expand their businesses and get themselves noticed.

Imagine how much more coverage and potential customers your business would get if you had a group of people determined to raise the profiles of their own businesses at the same timne as helping others.

If for instance you have 200 friends and you recommend a business to them , and say 30 of them refer your page on and a further 30 people sign up to your page and from there they recommend you to 200 friends each thats so far a potential 60 new fans or likers ....

If everybody does this the network and your coverage could grow steadily :o) , the admins to the page will be shouting out to each new business that posts.
