Order Numbers in Prestashop

Sorry fivewood but i have the first question hehe

I have made a few test orders in prestashop and my next order number is 00006, i think this will look terrible when a customer comes along and see the order is only the 6th order, i have found some information about changing the invoice number to be the same as the order number but nothing to say how to change what the next order number will be. I can change the next invoice number in back office but not order number.

So my question is: Can you change what your next order number will be for example change to 100 or 1000 and if so how do you do it?

LOL no worries

You can change the order numbers and its something I have thought about doing myself.
But you cant do it within PS itself, has to be done within the SQL database and that scared me

you could execute the following query on your database

I have no idea how to do this and scared i will mess it up but will look into it further i think as orner number 6 sounds abit pathetic doesnt it lol

Its ok bob my excellent hosting provider Scotserve has sorted it for me so my new numbers are in the thousands
