Hi All
Not sure if I should ask but am totally stumped on this lot if anyone could help it would be much appreciated
I have been looking for a supplier for scarves and hair items such as clips fascinators etc
I have come across a few places but they only do bulk ,which I can't do as yet other wise if nothing like that another thing I want to add is handbags and purses as I already have a few wallets on the go

thanks

Hi Andy,

Not sure if they will have what you're after but www.amber-jewellery.com is one we use for handbags. However, they do also stock hair accessories, scarves etc. Minimum order is £50 (excl. VAT) with these though.

For handbags and purses also www.bag65.co.uk and www.bagzone.co.uk - great suppliers can't recommend these enough.

Hi

thanks for the reply .I have come across amber-jewellery and as nice as it is they have minimum price which sort of kills off drop-shipping and into the land of having to keep stock of which I can't afford yet... was hoping for a drop-ship company ..ah well the search must go on as they say

The main problem is the lack of profit for dropshippers and resellers on hair accessories etc for the cheaper end of the market and the slow selling nature of the high end.

I have a few suppliers who carry these, some have which I consider a very low minimum order for the cheaper end of the market or do you want to avoid wholesale completely?

Have a look for cash-and-carry operators in your area, some just might have what you need, no minimum order and just buy what you can afford, you can get a lot of costume jewellery for £20-£30.

thanks for the replies ..maybe I should look at the alternative(purses and handbags) .As I have never bought in bulk before and am just scared of doing so in-case I end up with pile of stuff that wont sell
I sometimes drive into these small factory areas to see what they are producing but as of yet haven't found anything worth while yet ,although it would help more if they put some signage of some type

There's always that risk even researching what sells. I'd say though that if you buy items partly with your own family/friends in mind and are prepared to risk a few quid, you could at least have some gifts to give or take to a car boot if they don't sell.

I ask people I know for their opinions on choices, it's all part of research and it works well I've found.
