OK yet again I am in need of help gasp
I am trying to sort out getting my stuff onto google .I have tried uploading via the dashboard .... nothing
last night I updated zencart with the google add-on ,got all the settings right pressed the button and got a OK message ....still nothing.... does it take time to register on the dash as I did it about 10pm last night

Yes they process the data and you should get a "data quality" report, at which point it should tell you how many of your products listed successfully.

Andy I cant see any sitemap.xml file on your site - how are you informing Google of products?

lol ...I dunno ,just trying to follow instructions ,I thought it was the sitemap at the bottom of the page

managed to get shopmania working :) and that was stretching my limitations

also just to add I have googlebase feeder installed now
when I upload I always get this message

have found a sitemapxml in the zencart downloads ......... should I install this too

You should create an xml file of products and tell Google where it is through your google webmaster tools, other search engines also look for a sitemap xml file

For example
http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/

OK I think I got it working, but had to cheat and use the google base and sitemap to get it working ....... still not 100 % sure though  whistle whistle

OK I have finally got it to work ,although I had to cheat again :0 ,the confirm side must be working as what I did was take the file from my ftp and uploaded manually via the dashboard and it passed ,so I can only assume there is something wrong with the uploading side of things
LOL my wife jumped about 3 feet as when it passed I let out a almighty yehaaaaa lol
