Being relatively new to online sales I realize I would have to publish my Terms and Conditions to my site publicly etc. Is there any standard skeleton framework document I could sue and fill in the blanks as they pertain to my specific undertakings so to speak?

Any help would be cool.
Cheers,
Mark.

Hi all,

Just a quick note to say to remember to publish your business address too as that is a legal requirement.

My terms and conditions are based on the sale of goods act and distance selling regulations (which i know off by heart being a law student) so are very up to date.

Oh and also remember that when doing a refund you have to, by law, pay the postage back too, most retailers dont do this but it is a legal requirement.

If anyone wants to copy mine then do feel free, they are at the bottom of my homepage :)

Actually no its not IMO

There is a lot of stuff missing including the point of contract and who the contract is between, your DSR statement leaves you liable to return postage costs, I cant see much in relation to faulty or daaged goods
copying the terms and conditions - this is totally the wrong thing to do as your terms will be specific for your business and business practices

Had a quick look and IMO thats pretty good - only thing i seen is that the Force majeure should have a time attached this is normally 30 days as this is the default time given under DSR contract.

I am basing these opinions on extensive online experience and have no legal training - if concerned speak to a solicitor
