There's been a recent rush by major retailers to trade fixed-price on eBay. No longer simply a place to liquidate obsolete stock, major brands have embraced the new branding, streamlined processes, fixed price capabilities and of course additional customers as a result of being on eBay.

On Thursday 30th September we're hosting the latest in our JumpStart series, focusing entirely upon eBay trading at fixed prices for retailers.

At this short event you'll hear from eBay themselves, implementation partners and the providers who could, with a fair wind, have you up and trading within 6~8 weeks. Decisive action following the event could have your January sales boosted significantly.

Register to attend and/or to receive the full videos from the event. Best to come along, however, for the networking, discussion and wonderful venue - Shakespeare's Globe on the banks of the Thames.

Full info, booking link etc at the following link:

I look forward to seeing you on Thursday.

Sounds interesting. Am not sure that ebay themselves will really be up for this event. I thought I'd have a look at your page incase I was in London then. Hmm, here goes

"We are respectful of your time and so will not allow ’standard sales pitch’ presentations. Rather, we’ll make the pitches, white papers and generic content available to all delegates for desk research at your leisure. Our editorial team will capture delegate questions in advance, and also pose, aggregate and publish our questioning of the presenters in advance."

Well, that couple of sentences really stops me I'm afraid. You'll make the pitches and white papers(?) . Then you will pose, aggregate and publish all our questions in advance of the meet.

Good luck.

I set up a wholesale company in late April selling designer handbags and accessories. Is there any internet retailers directory or ebay sellers directory I could get from the website? Or is there any local trade development council where I can seek for biz partnership with local small enterprises?

Wringle - do you have a wholesale website? I work for an online handbag company, wouldn't mind a nosey at your stuff :) I'd advise you probably go out visiting handbag and accessory stores, stores that sell these and contacting online companies via e-mail and promote your service to potential buyers.
