The Royal Mail's PAF file is extremely expensive. There are some great pay-per-search services out there BUT there is a free alternative which is very reliable. http://www.tabcat.co.uk Have a play with it and let me know. It was a side project but people seem to have given it a good reception.

ooops!!! - first time failure it cant find my address - before Rain chirps in and says David attenbourough couldnt find my address it is listed with most databases :)

You're only allowed 15 free searches a day, beyond that it's more expensive.

Google is free but not always accurate either, come to think of it the RM database isn't accurate for brand new housing estates but at least gives me just one answer for my postcode.
