When i was growing up I had a mate who's nickname was popeye, he later married a girl called Olive

Roll forward 30 years and I have a friend called Simon who's fiancée is called Ella

A choc ice! A block of ice-cream with a milk chocolate coating! Haha, I made this as a meal when I was a young child and thought it was lovely. Probably explains a lot though really toothy grin

Perhaps shouldn't mention the Chap with the surname Kerr who married a Chinese lady.....tempted to call their son Wang?

I suspect this one is the stuff of Urban Myths.....

Not a strange combination in itself but the resulting nickname is amusing. A columnist in one of the national Scottish newspapers ran a competition for the best nickname. It was won by a chap called Campbell Baxter who's mates called him Two Soups.

In times gone by when I had a mate called Dick, his girlfriend lost him at a party and was going around syaing 'has anyone seen my Dick'    lol

Good name but a bit of a misnomer now unless he is a bachelor (in which case perhaps he'd have originally been three soups, but I digress). I remember being a tiny bit put out since the last few Campbells soup labels were in a Warhol commemorative label and I'd just completed a project that used Campbells soup labels in conjunction with Warhols artwork. No skin off my nose but I did think arrggh typical!
