Can you re-acitvate some of the programs you paid for if you contact the suppliers with your login / e-mail address to get a new keycode? My friends bloke recently faffed about with my dinosaur of a laptop and managed to lose my advancedcare pro for me. However, they do send the keycode if you send your e-mail. .......... Shame I can't do the same with my DVD RW driver....... He managed to disable that, or confuse it somehow.......... So can no longer write DVD's as it doesnt recognise the drive..............

However, this is a miniscule problem compared to yours........ Just damn annoying!

Actually Annie thanks for your efforts. Because, I was seriously trying to hold on and remove the thing. But, after seeing your links just convinced me that I actually need to let go and reset. You saved me time by posting your stuff as I'd probably be here next week looking for solutions that aren't there for my capability.

I've been using Mozy.com to backup my important files online, dont get much space, but its free and is ok for me so far.
