Here's a quick synopsis of what I do - more details on the website.
I spent a long time trying to find a good fulfilment company for the business I worked for, but found very little. So I started a company called Six Works which rather than just despatching orders works with you to get the next sale. Amazon are very good at this, but unfortunately, not many companies can afford to build all the behavioural analysis systems required to be able to cross sell effectively, based on previous orders, other customers behaviours, what's overstocked etc.
We basically try to help companies with a bit more clever selling.
- Automatic promotions on products predicted to go out of date
- Individualised promotional inserts, printed at time of packaging
- Automated cross-selling based on what others bought
- Emails or postcards triggered by customer purchases
So while we do fulfilment in the first instance, we offer a lot more value than most.
