Morning all

Still learning, but a thought just occurred to me as we are now advertising in a few different places is there a way to find out where your customers found out about your site.

I am thinking about maybe a drop-down box or something in the Registration area?

I have looked around but can not see anything obvious.

Can anyone comment?

Cheers

If it's coming from a link or banner then your stats package (Google Analytics, Statcounter etc) can tell you that.

If it's offline advertising then I think your suggestion of a drop down box for "Where did you hear about us?" is probably the best idea. You could send surveys to customers but I think most would just ignore it unless you offered some kind of incentive to complete and return the survey.

Thanks for that, yes it is the off-line marketing I was thinking about ... just have to see how to add that drop down box now then ...
