Just wondering if anyone has any experience in using any of the following carts and what your opinions are.

StoreSprite - http://www.storesprite.com/

OpenCart - http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=common/home

AugoraCart - http://www.agoracart.com/

agoracart is not really worth using, theres plenty out there that are alot better and easier to customise,
opencart, average open source cart, does the job,  I preffer zen cart or prestashop to opencart,
storesprite, never had a good poke about one of them, so cant really comment.

I've recently downloaded and tried the trial version of X-Cart.
Can't help feeling it's just a better organised oScommerce or cre-loaded cart.
Maybe there's an expert here that knows if it is.

I have used x-cart for years

Obviously not opensource and free but well worth the money, professional backup from the developers and a good range of "add ons"
It is a perpetual licence so I am still upgrading from a licence I purchased in 2002
Easy upgrades and security fixes from within the site
Template development is a bit more involved but the out the box template is excellent - I recently took the site down but i can easily swap the licence on to whatever domain I want.

StoreSprite is OK, it's good for smaller sites. Open cart is getting there but personally it's got a bit to go.

There is a whole host of carts out there

Watch out for security on any cart.
