Automatic Change of Categories

Does anyone know if you can set Zen Cart up to automatically change a product listing to another category, i.e., where an item goes out of stock it is sent directly to the OOS cat?

OR .... thinking out loud

Any way to produce an Out of Stock report which is updated once item quantity changes to 0 and that can be made into an available download

Or is this pie in the sky stuff?

I seem to remember asking that exact question on a certain other forum awhile back. If I remember rightly it wasn't a positive response. I'll see if I can dig it out.

Easy Populate has this feature...

Create Model/Price/Qty tab-delimited .txt file in temp dir

Can you use that to get the info you need to produce a report?

Billy the report isn't for me but for members to download and I can't see a way to make the EP work that way. I'll have a look though

Still looking for some kind of downloadable Out of Stock report for customers, I don't have the skill to produce one from the price list.
