has anybody any thoughts on how  a hung parliament may affect small businesses ?

any differences between the effects of a minority government and say a

lib/tory coalition and a lib/lab conflab , ? would one or t'other be preferable ?

The real danger is in indecision and that could happen whether the Liberals lend their weight to Labour or Conservatives. Having said that, I'm not sure it is really going to have any major impact on small businesses at present. Big businesses might be wetting themselves though, who are they going to pay to ask questions now? ;)

Belgium was plunged into anarchy in 2007 for 174 days. We've brought up to believe that this is an utter disaster and not to be borne but major buildings didn't collapse, the traffic didn't stop and the trains may well have run on time. In fact it went so well it panicked the EU something rotten. It could have been contagious and then who'd be sitting at the gravy train buffet.

Change is sometimes good for the soul.

Strangely enough, I have seen a drop in sales over the last two weeks. And then today it suddenly and inexplicably picked up again.
My sales aren't great after only being on line for four months, but it's interesting (and quite frustrating) to monitor it.

I don't know whether to put it down to the election uncertainty or not.
