My client needs an online store but he doesn't want to display the prices on the website neither making payment transactions online.
All he needs is to receive the order via email.
Is there any ecommerce software able to do this task?
Thanks!

I'm sure it's a typing error, but how would people buy something without knowing the price.

I assume that what you are after is a catalog feature.  This is available in Prestashop

no it's not a typing error :) my client wants to receive orders by e-mail, then the payments will be made manually later after negotiations..... i am talking about big deals in a competitive market..
one more quest. plz: in catalog mode, am i able to send selected products to the sales department via email??
thanks again....

Hello, fr1fb! You can create ecommerce catalog website using Word Press. This platform is easy to understand, user-friendly and SEO optimized. It has several ecommerce plug-ins which your client may need in the future,

Thank you altteam!

Actually i'm looking for software able to do the task described above.

The clients will select the desired products/quantity without having prices displayed. Then after submitting, the request will be delivered by email to the sales department. There is no payment online, only selecting products and sending the details by email......

A catalog website would be an option, but i am not sure if i can deliver the order details by email and "skipping the payment process".

Which means: i don't want to display the prices neither paying online. Only email the order details. The cost and the payment will be "manually" discussed and done later, maybe in a meeting, by email, etc, but not via the website...

Thanks!

Actually I don't have personal experience with Word Press but I've read a lot of positive things about it. I'm sure Word Press can meet your requirements. It's now a very strong platform which is good not only for bloging but even for selling business. I would recommend to contact Word Press company and ask your question or just write your question in their forum.

wordpress, there are a multitude of ecommerce plugins that will do the job,
prestashop
zen cart
open cart
cube cart

pretty much all have a function to set the store up as a catalog, with contact buttons instead of buy it now buttons.

Plenty of choices ;)

Thank you all for helping!

I found "ask a question" plugin used to ask for some specific product by email.
But I couldn't find any plugin able to send multiple products links + requested quantity for each selected product at once (same as add to cart).

I searched a lot with No Luck!!!
I'll be really thankful if anyone could save my life and lead me to the right place! :)

Thanks again..
