I have been used to using Dreamweaver however I know there are lots of alternatives out there and I wondered whether I should consider 'switching my allegiance' to another product - maybe open source.

I would be interested to hear any recommendations and comparisons ...

highly recommend notepad++


I've been converted from dreamweaver ... nowhere near as heavy and just as good if not better

I use notepad and notepad++

notepad++ is quite good, nice and straight forward, doesnt do anything fancy, makes it easy to find the line of code you need

Will have a look at that now (just opened the home page and saw the Iguana, I like Iguana so it must be a good product!)
