Hi,
My name is Maxine and I am a newbie here!
I own Handmade For You UK which is a listing website for UK handmade businesses.
The website is very basic at the moment but I am looking into improving it and adding services soon, but we do have over 200 businesses currently listed with us!
I am always on the look out for tips to improving things and I enjoy helping others where I can so I look forward to being a part of the forum :o)
If anyone is interested in taking a look at the website it is www.handmadeforyou.weebly.com
I look forward to getting to know others here  happy
Thanks for reading,
Maxine

Maxine
Welcome to the mad house

My first reaction is using a FREE website to attract business is a big no no - you have little or no credibility with this method and you are not building up any SEO benefit whatsoever all will be lost when you got to your own domain/website

I have in the past couple of months been looking into doing a similar but different venture so if you want to bounce any ideas about I will glady give you some feedback

Yeah I know that it's not the best website but I am not making any money from it so at the moment cannot afford to pay for anything or I will be out of pocket.
I have actually posted a question in the website development section asking if anyone knows of any marketplace style website software as that i what I want to really do then I will be adding the current website into that x
Thanks!
