Removing orders from back office

Does anybody know how to remove orders from your back office, i have the john doe one which i want to remove and i have done a few test orders myself but my back office says i have sold about £1500 worth of stuff.

Now i am receiving genuine orders i wanted to remove the pretend ones to save confusion, is this possible ????

Yes....

But it has to be done direct from the sql database.

Ask your host (scotserve) to do it for you if your not sure how.

All you need to is note down which order ids you want to delete, then browse to the ps_order table in your database, and delete those orders.

If you dont fancy editing the sql database...



Go to AdminOrders.php class in webroot\admin\tabs\AdminOrders.php

At line 25 look for

global $cookie, $currentIndex;

And add this code below it…

$this->delete = true;

That’s it.. when you click on “Order” main tab you will see the delete button “X” next to each order

You might also find it useful (I did) to use this on the shopping carts as well

Go to AdminCarts.php  in webroot\admin\tabs\AdminCarts.php

Around line 274 look for

global $cookie;

And add this below it:

$this->delete = true;

You should now see the X's beside the individual carts and be able to delete any you need to

By the way I think the code should have inverted commas around the word true.....
