Could do with some suggestions for writing a paragraph about my business which will be used in a christmas gift guide featuring local artists in my county.

Here's a copy & paste of the email:

We are putting together a Christmas gift guide for our next issue, featuring local artists and would love to consider featuring your jewellery if at all possible. If the answer is yes we would just need some high res images of your jewellery and a paragraph about yourself. There is obviously no cost involved as we just want to encourage people to stay local when doing their Christmas shopping!

What advice could anyone give me on what to include...I sometimes get carried away with writing these things and they always end up far too long, so what would be the best kind of info to include?

Any ideas would be much appreciated  ;)

Thanks muchly!

Hiya!

Short but sweet? As it's local it may be good to mention how long you have been in business and how long in the area. Mention some of your most popular product types with a photo's of those items mentioned. No need to mention every product type as that will encourage people to come and look.

Can you mention your website?

I wouldn't mind reading what you do write, it sounds like a good bit of marketing!

Good luck

you could maybe add a bit more info as to where the newly refurbished Atkins Building in Hinckley, Leicestershire actually is, I lived in Leicester for a few years and know the surrounding areas reasonably well and I would have no idea where that is.

The workshop sounds like something worth promoting ;)
