Google data feed

Hi Guys

How do you get the new data feed to work .I have installed it and it sort of runs a feed ,not sure if it's an error code but not much shows up in the feed box
Would really appreciate a bit of help on this

I've managed to get 216 of 615 products updated now ..Any reason why it wont upload the rest of my products

Google Merchant Centre should tell you why it's not uploaded everything. Without knowing what Google MErchant Centre says, it isn't easy to guess at what is wrong.

it doesn't say any error, in zencart I produce +-600 products when I upload my products to google only registers 216 products  with 1 error (which I have now fixed ) the other 380 odd don't show no error no nothing just missing

I had the same problem when i first tried to upload the feed, and found that one of the products was breaking the feed file, so when Google was trying to process it, it got to that product and it ended the feed, so the rest of the products didnt get uploaded.  When I disabled that particular product everything was uploaded fine

My advice, work out which is the last product to be uploaded and have a look at that product in your feed file and see if there is anything wrong with that.

It is unusual not to have an error if this happens though, as I got an xml encoding error when it tried to upload the file.

Yeah I tried that but it doesn't seem to go in order of the file ,I even turned off a whole lot of categories that I thought could pose a problem even then it was out by a large amount
maybe will have to try category by category

I've been trying JhnStcks solution but it takes a heck of a lot of time
and trying to find the last item uploaded is near impossible

am going to turn off all active google products to find out what is left and start from there

If you're not getting any joy from the ZC forum, you could try the forum on Numinix's site for this module.

Have you tried the Debug? That will tell you which items fail and which are successes and the reasons why.

that's the thing none fail it only uploads 216 of the 615 ..Well in saying that 1 does fail with a 404 error ..have disabled the product then it just uploads 215 ..I think it could be a dodgy product but have disabled groups of products and it always falls short of what is suppose to upload ..Have checked all jpg's checked repeated model numbers and deleted/changed, removed all Zero stock ,played around with settings on both google upload file & in config files
I do have some attributes for text but only 30 or so  ,but that's it

Would you copy and paste the debug file here please? It might give some pointers.

You shouldn't remove 0 stock, Google now wants that to be kept in.
