Hi all, and happy International Talk Like Pirate Day!

I'm thinking of introducing a new line of fun, customised hoodies and/or a zip-up version. It would be a new range under my Hop Stitch Jump label and I'd first like to trial it with my own children. Do you have any recommendations for good value children's hoody suppliers? I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest - I want a good balance between quality and price.

Thanks in advance,
Catherine  thumbs up

I use Ralawise for a lot of my blank items - they are not too badly priced and do quite a big range of all different hoodies in lots of different colours. When you have there trade account as well you can use there images and links to their catalogues etc and there is no minimum order. Also Mulberry print and design do a lot of blank hoodies mainly Fruit of the Loom but they tend to be quite cheap.

I have recently used fire label but have since discovered ralawise and a couple of other wholesalers that I am going to register with and check out their pricing.

I have a nice new stock of AWDIS children's hoodies for my Dino Hoodz, they are a nice quality and fab bright colours!

Thank you both very much - you are angels  angel for coming to my rescue! My children have been invited to a dinosaur-themed party at the weekend and I just can't bring myself to make them both full costumes while I'm burning the candle at both ends with work, so I'm going to make them dinosaur hoodies (inspired by an article on www.ohcrafts.net) in the hope they'll get a bit more wear out of them than a costume! I've ordered a few colours and sizes from Ralawise in the hope that I might be able to add them to my range, too. What a coincidence that you do them, Mrs Fizzy! I'm heading over to you for a look-see and keeping my fingers crossed that we're not booked on the same events this Autumn!

Thanks again, and fingers crossed Ralawise (who offer super speedy dispatch, btw!) meet their recommendations. :o)

Hehehee, I'm based in Oxfordshire and have been doing events here, Wiltshire, Warwickshire and Northants so far.... where abouts are you?

I love making dino hoodies, they always make me smile!!! From teeny toddlers to XXL adults, they all look fab!!!

I'm now registered with Ralawise, they are not that much cheaper than fire label but have quite a big range and have been really friendly and helpful on the phone and online :)

In all fairness to them they are very friendly there and the stuff comes within a couple of days. The Ralawise deals are good. They do special offers on the 1st of each month of all sorts and they are usually very cheap - good for doing one offs, limited ranges or practising with

Hello! sockmonsters, may i ask you, what printing technique do you use for your hoodies - heat transfer, direct to garment printing or screen printing? Is it long lasting print?
