My vickiesbeads website had an order from slovenia even though my terms and conditions say  the website is inteneded for uk but use my own discretion blah blah for oversea orders.

Thing is the £2.50 I put for overseas orders as not come through she has been charged the £1 also  paypal is saying its an unconfirmed address I am not sure about sending it to her.
I am willing to send it to her (not all are out to con.) Can I email her the £1.50 excess for postage as stated on my FAQ is the price.

Also how do I sort out the postage for overseas on the website a it is marked as £2.50 on the page when listing the item but paypal sort out the postage for uk did paypal over ride it ? and if so how do I sort it?

TIA Vx

gees didn't really understand that at first ,You can say there has been an error in the postage and ask for another pound. But show the link for the delivery page and cost ..If she doesn't want to pay it you cancel & refund the order or what I would do is send it and learn from your mistake & FIX THE PROBLEM :) lol ...... Seriously you should adjust your countries so they can't register ie remove all countries you don't want to post to so it can't happen again.

Why don't you change the website to cover UK only, then when you get an order from outside the UK email the customer pointing them to your postage page that says the postage price is for UK only.

If your accepting money via paypal then log into your account and click the request money, enter their email address and request the extra postage before you can ship the item. The customer receives an email asking them to log into their account and pay the extra money, it will show in their recent transactions as requested so all they need to do is click the confirm button

Hope this helps

I would open up your business to EU countries.
I recently started allowing my products to be sold to EU countries and half of my sales last week were to Ireland, not Northern, but the Republic.
My products are Celtic themed and they seem to like them over there, I only post by International Signed For at a minimum cost of £6.70 for a pendant, it might seem an expensive postage cost, but the Irish are used to it.
I also posted to Denmark, Germany and Norway last week, all valuable sales at this quiet time of year..
I set my postage up using the Zones method in Zencart.

Vickie is this on the wordpress cart ? if so all you need to do is go into the shop settings and untick the countries you dont want to send to - shouldn't take you more that 5 mins - that way they cant register unless the country is accepted by you
