Hi all yes it is me again constantly looking for ways to nit pick my website.lol

I was browing online recently and saw this done on another logo that i wanted to purchase later on down the line. As far as i am aware it is something to do with the header.tpl but i have looked and would not know how to change it to make this happen. The small things frustrate me and i would like this to be as i want it.lol

Can anyone help me and explain how i would in fact change the header.tpl if it is the right place to get my bits where i would like them to be

You are all stars

tpl_header.php is the file you need to change,
best creating an over ride, thats easy enough to do
download a copy of the tpl_header.php from /includes/templates/template_default/common
and put it into
includes/templates/your_template/common (your_template being the name of the template you are using)
this is the file you want to be changing, the reason to set it up as an override (as above) if anything goes wrong, you can just delete the modified file from /includes/templates/your_template/common and the original tpl_header.php file will be used instead,

it depends how your template is set up depends on what you need to do, but it should be just a matter of moving the code for the search bar and login, cart, account etc links, and putting them where you want on the header,

then you will need to tweak the stylesheet.css to get everything to sit properly,
you will need to create the space for the search bar etc using the stylesheet.css or moving the search bar etc within the tpl_header.php will just cause the search bar etc, to be hidden behind the logo, whihc isnt any good as for all intents and purposes, it wont be there.

I'll write up some better instructions shortly, to show you what needs doing
