If you take orders of any type you need terms and conditions, even if only advertising if you then get someone email, writing or phoning you it comes under the distance selling directive - this doesnt just cover websites though any type of order over a distance with no face to face contact applys.
Additionally you should always have terms to cover any business no matter what it is - no T&C's leaves you wide open in the event of something going wrong.

Total rubbish!!!
You need T&C's BEFORE you sell anything - even if you dont sell from the site the business still needs terms and if it is phone, mail, email orders then the company is obligated under the Distance selling regulations

Can anyone recommend a good place to get a set of T&Cs etc drawn up?  Have read through all the previous posts, but it seems there are so many conflicting ideas about what is and what isn't needed, even on here!  :/ I'm confused!

Speak to Bryon at Scotserve ^^^ post above.  His advice is the one I would trust above all others.
