I will try to keep it brief but it is eBay so nothing is that simple!!!!

DSR's have been a right pain in the backside recently. People giving you 1+2's for no apparent reason.

Well apparently eBay have sense!!!! If you believe and can prove that a dsr was left maliciously or because the buyer was just a complete idiot you can get them removed.

Examples would be

They leave positive feedback but mark you as a below 2 on each one.
They receive the item within the timescale specified and leave feedback marking you a below 2 on dispatch time.
They leave a below 2 on p&p even though it was free.

Now you will need to phone eBay but as long as you are polite and you have good grounds for complaint they will REMOVE the feedback and dsr scores and also issue the buyer with a warning!!!!.

So if you sell on eBay and you have received dsr scores in the past (or in the future) that are below 2 and affect your dsr rating give eBay a call and see if they will remove them.

Well thats a least a step back in the right direction ;)

not a patch on being able to really mark the buyers for what they are but maybe they are finally starting to listen to all those silly questionnaires we all fill out about customer satisfaction ?

These DSR's are a right pain in the proverbial!!  I lost my top-rated status this month because of 3 idiots who marked me really low when they received items next day and and had free postage (Actually it's the despatch time that I was marked down on)

I slogged my guts out this year trying to get my DSR's up and post same day as much as I can but there is no pleasing some people.

Can you tell what mark each person has given you then? I thought it was just an overall score. Where do i look for that?

I have got 2 negative feedbacks in the 3 years i have been selling on ebay. But i managed to get them bother removed.

Actually the first time i got a negative it wasnt my fault it was Parcelforces fault. I dont quite know what happened, but i phoned the guy up and ended up crying at him. He said he was very sorry for making me so upset and revised his feedback to a positive!  happy So thats a tip for the girlies, if i guy gives you a negative feedback, phone them up and cry. They dont know what to do with a sobbing woman on the end of the phone!
