I wonder if anyone can help me please?

Over the last few weeks I have had a phonecall and an e-mail from 2 people trying to use my site.  Both times they say that when they add their details they are told that we currently dont ship to your area.  Both times they have both been in the UK.

Then today I had another phonecall saying exactly the same thing.  Now twice I have thought it must be user error, but now Im wondering if there is a problem.  Both Bryon and Jamie have looked into it for me and said there is nothing wrong with my site (and I do trust you boys!!), but Im starting to wonder if I could be losing sales because of this.

Any suggestions??  Could it be user error??  If so how could they be going wrong??

there is some default text on your shopping cart page that needs removed from

includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php

I've had another look around the site and I cant get it to diplay any shipping errors, apart from the default text in the shopping cart, everything is fine for me,

Do you know what browsers they are using just in case its a browser error ?
1 user is a numpty 2 users is questionable 3 users and i would tend to think there is an issue somewhere

I agree with you Bryon, but Ive even made accounts using my name and the 3 peoples addresses and they have worked no problem.

Ill e-mail them all and ask them what browsers they use.  Can it make a difference from browser to browser then??

Jamie can you help me with what text I need to delete cos it looks ok to me?!

I had the same problem with one of my sites and it was to do with one of the free shipping modules not working correctly.

if you go into
 includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php
via ftp and look for this :

You may want to add some instructions for using the shopping cart here. (defined in includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php)

^^ and just delete that line or replace it, thats the text that shows at the top of the shopping cart page

great

So I could change it from free shipping to a flat rate of 0.00 and change all my products to normal shipping rules instead of always free shipping??

I had the same problem with one of my sites and it was to do with one of the free shipping modules not working correctly.

Well it seems that this was the problem with my site too.

I have changed all my products to flat rate shipping with a value of 0.00 and everything seems to be ok.  I e-mailed one of my customers who was having the problem and she has put things in the basket and gone to checkout no problem at all.

Thanks all for your help once again!!  :)  great
