Lots of reasons, dont assume it is price, your in a helluva competitive market so look for a niche way of selling some of the products, people like freebies so look to see if you could offer some sort of special  ( Just dont make it free filghts to the USA )  :p

Ask people to review your site ( not friends or family ), compare with similar sites, study your stats, hits doesnt really tell you anything - look at the pages they have been viewing and how long they were on the site. If everyone bailing out after 20 seconds then that tells you there is something seriously wrong either with your site or the client is expecting something else from the link he clicked.

I am not getting any sales either - think it is the climate!  I dont mean the weather LOL.

I just looked at my Stats via the CPanel - not been there before - and 75% of visitors are leaving within 30 seconds - not good - any ideas how I can improve that figure.

Oooh I like the stats in the control panel!!  :)

I think from having sold jewellery myself that there are many people making it so hence they dont tend to buy it.  I do also believe that the economy being as it is doesnt help, but with any luck things will pick up at some point and people will start spending again!!

One thing I have found recently is that crafters tend to market themselves to other crafters, its nice to be friendly with people in the same trade but thats not where your customers are going to come from, 30 second visits will probably be people being nosey - check and see if the times equate to your posts on FB or elsewhere.
Its competetive out there you need to ensure you are pushing in the right direction, I'm lucky I have been trading for 17 years in the internet industry and have a good loyal customer base that has repeat trade but it wasnt easy getting established, probably took me 2 years before I got that "this is going to work" feeling.

If you get a really good idea keep it to yourself and try it out - never share your niche's

Significantly in the first year and at a loss for the first 3 years - I needed to spend to attract business and I had to have the services in place to sell to the customers.

Marketing is a challenging job. You have to work hard to get to get traffic. You have to work hard to convert traffic to sales. Your website structure, content, product prices, reputation and credibility may effect sales conversion. So you should try to improve the conversion rate. You can apply following tips to improve sales conversion rate.
-Add more testimonials
-Offer competitive prices
-Purchase SSL certificate
-Register with online entities that help to improve your credibility
-Use simple to understand navigation system.

You should not depend on online marketing methods. You can try offline marketing methods. You can practice offline marketing methods like customer visiting, publish news paper ads, television ads, banner advertisements and sms marketing.
