Just a general warning to everyone, recently a lot of retail stores and popular websites are being attacked from hackers operating out of Russia. What they are doing is logging on as a customer leaving details like name fghfjfhfjsgdhj a free email address that can't be traced like 15987@hotmail.ru, from there they have a limited access to your site, and they then attack your products or specific pages by adding extra information that directs your customers to ask.com or to another address.

How it came to light is a few customers of ours had high ranking on a couple of search terms and while checking they still had the ranking clicked on the ranking in google and were redirected to ask.com, the only way to solve it is by checking your database, and installing security patches and if possible IP traps. An ip trap basically bans anyone that tries to get into your databse or admin area.  One other sign you could have been targeted is if you get suddenly a lot of people online just look and see if any try to get to your admin area.

The best way of solving this is to have a decent security setup on the server, a good mod_security ruleset will keep out the vast majority of hack attempts, code injection etc, they dont need an account do do this but use a log in to test the waters on your own site security as well as what the host is using, I often get accused of being anal about security but it is singly the most important part of any hosting setup
BTW its not just Russian but China, Phillipines, Turkey and most arab states that are the top of the attacks we see
