I have been looking at internet business promoter V11.5 which is an SEO software to help improve your ranking: http://www.ibusinesspromoter.com/

Has anybody used it before or can recommend whether it is any good or a load of rubbish?

Not seen this before but it looks similar to Market Samurai and I have read on other forums that this is an excellent tool. Don't google have a similar tool for free tho?

I do! I LOVE IBP!!  love

This is a fab bit of kit, you can do all kinds of stuff and it is guaranteed to get you on page 1 of google or your money back, although if you did want your money back there are some hoops to jump through, but i am just happy being on page 1.

Its all just the same old stuff, keyword density, meta tags, backlinks etc, but you can see all your competitors stuff at the same time and compare it to yours.

The only downside its a little bit addictive, lol I got a bit caught up on trying to get 100% that i wasnt getting any work done.

I used it on my hubbys exhibition site, (That way he paid for it!) I was really struggling with the keywords "Custom built exhibition stand" and as google charged £6 per click for adwords then seo was the only way. I went from 200 to 1st place in a couple of months. Slipped down a bit now though as i havent put any effort in for a while.

I would say if you like the look and feel of the free version then buy it, even if you only use it once a month to check your rankings and stuff its probably worth it imo.

I just downloaded the trial thinking here we go another SEO tool promising the earth and delivering nothing but I have to say i was quite impressed with the result of the demo - you still have to do the work but the analysis tool is superb.
So much so i am considering buying this as a service to offer.

With the basic version you can only do 5 websites at a time, so you have to delete one, but if you buy the super duper business pro version you can have as many as you like and if you offer the reports as a service you can add your own details to the report and stuff.

I think if i remember rightly you dont get all the info on the trial like you do on the paid version, but you can get a look and feel for it.

You can also do your directory submisssions from there too. I think its worth having  thumbs up

Well i've just installed the demo version, and ran it against one of the new retail sites we have.

Have to say that I am very impressed with it. Its working well and has loads of details included in there.

This is the main tool I use.  I've used a few and I wouldn't use anything else now.

Although it's important to remember that it's not a complete substitute for manual SEO.

I've been using IBP for a while now, and found the demo version a bit limiting. Had a search around the internet and found these guys:

http://www.link-assistant.com/

I have all the programmes installed, and the demo gives you more than IBP. Using in conjunction with IBP its proving to be quite helpful.

I love IBP , great tool! not only does it give some fantastic advice and gives you a huge amount of information in once place but it's great for reports. I used to use WEB CEO to run client reports but now use IBP as it gives client friendly info without over complicatiing things. New clients love it and if they come on board its great as it gives us a head start to know what needs changing on the site. The paid version is quite pricey but well worth it if you're going to be using it a lot. Definitely a little loife saver  thumbs up
