What are your thoughts on the Royal Mail price increases due on Monday?

First class stamps will be 46p and second class stamps 36p, my postmaster said there are increases to other postal services as well.

Considering the loss they have been making per delivered letter I don't mind the increase I think they should have done it sooner. I still can;t find a comparable service for low weight parcels or letters.

So will you be changing your postal services?

I did get a big shock when they changed the sizes way back when.  I send out lots of little light packages and overnight the postage went from something like 36p to £1.39 but I have now got used to it.

Like you say, there is nowhere else that does low rates for light parcels.

I think that RM provide good value for the service they provide.
There really is no competion for small packet deliveries.
