Re Domain:

How do I contact Nominate as it a few years ago that I started this domain. Do I need to register with Nominate and if I do does it cost. I firstly had this domain with another site and transfered it to EKM a couple of years ago.

Re terms & conditions will make the neccassary correction - how much would you charge to set up new ones.

Will check all this out in the morning been a long day and head is hurting thanks for you advice

No as a UK domain holder you already have an account with Nominet - you can find contact details here www.nominet.org.uk - there is no cost involved and you will find them helpful - I am a full Nominer registrar but can only liaise with domains under our Nominet account.

Terms - running a couple of days behind but will happily provide you with a set for a donation to my charity - www.second-chances.com - the amount is up to you to what you feel it is worth - I have done quite a few for people on here aready and most seem pleased with the result

Just as a ryder - you should be able to contact your existing registrar and ask them to update the Nominet details for you

Hi Scotserve, i have left a message on your facebook page, but after reading this forum i realise how busy you are!

I was hoping you could provide me with T&C's for my website www.TotalComics.co.uk & related shop,  shop.TotalComics.co.uk.

Also could you browse over my privacy policy just to get your opinion on it? http://www.totalcomics.co.uk/privacypolicy.html
I am more than Happy to pay you for your time & help, or donate to charity for you, please let me know how much, and provide the charity details.

Best Regards,
Adam

Hi, I haven't got the shop up and running yet as I wanted to make sure everything is in place first.
The shop is on a subdomain;  http://shop.TotalComics.co.uk

The privacy policy came from a recommendation from Google adsense, but I myself am not too pleased with the wording.

I will Pm you my details ASAP,

Thank-you so much for your help,
Best Regards,
Adam

Is it possible to get some T&C's done without a website? I have a domain name that I got from GBBO for free, and it runs using Google sites as the editing tool, I haven't done much/anything with it yet, and I don't know how or what cart to add to it or anything.. However I currently sell from an Etsy shop and would like to know if there's a legal way of trading directly from a FB page as many people want to buy that way.. T&C's for either/or would be great if you could let me know if you could do that.

I'm trying to sort the Nominet thing to see who my domain is registered to and see if it's registered as a sole trader..

Hi
If its the domain i think it is then its registered to Rachel ? The registration is fine but to be honest you will struggle badly to create a shop properly on these platforms
I can create the terms for you but Etsy and facebook provide no way to tie in your terms to your buyers - this I am sure is something Trading Standars will pick up on in due course.
By selling from external sites you are not creating a business site for yourself you are always promoting Facebook or Etsy not your own business as such

I have a plan available to help people such as you to get set up and drive business from your FB & Etsy pages to your own site
http://www.scotserve.co.uk/shared-hosting/entry-e-commerce-plan

Overall if you are happy to keep plodding away with FB & Etsy then fine i can create a set of terms for you - does it make you legal ?? that depends on how you are able to ensure your customers are able to to view the terms - I wont profess to have the answer as I have looked a both and cannot fathom out a way to tie things in that would properly meet with Consumer laws.
