I have also registerd but have yet to put items on.
It would be alot easier if they had a bulk uploader as 1 at a time is a pain in the backside

Have registered and got a shop but sold nothing yet so can't comment but it's only a couple of months old so needs time to grow, plus everything is free so all it costs to try is a bit of time.

Hello all,
Well thanks for getting a thread started about Cheekyoffer.
My name is John (to those of you who haven't spoken with me before) and I am one of the sponsors of cheekyoffer.com.
I will answer a couple of questions first, as I can see some forum users have mentioned certain things.
It is still early days for us, and we are putting everything into making this site the best it can.
Regarding the Bulk uploader, we have had this in place once, but I was not happy with its functionality or ease of use, so I decided to pull it from the site. We are about 10 days away from having the new one fully tested and functioning.
We have many options on the site that we hope will help until the BU is ready, such as sell similar. We also offer 50 day auctions with an auto re-list. This helps at such an early stage as you don’t have to constantly monitor the site, but when there is any action on your listing you are informed immediately through an email.
We feel things are going in the right direction and if we continue at this pace, and are able to attract users who understand that a new site needs products on to gain traffic, we will have a great site in the very near future. (Not just a good site, which it is at the minute)
We are working on the Google Product feed and this is almost complete, so very soon all user BIN items will be feed via our client account to Google.
We hope this will be a big pull for many of our users.
Well I think I have said enough for now, If you have any further questions, Please feel free to either post it here. Post it on our own Cheekyoffer forum or even contact us from the “contact us” link on our home page.
Thanks again for taking interest in Cheekyoffer, but please remember, We need your items on now as this is what will bring the traffic.
Take care

Hello there, Hope you are all well?
We are now ready for you all to start listing as we have the site working fantastic. We have made some great changes and will have the Bulk uploader fully tested and ready for use within the next 48 hours.
I am not going to tell you to much as I would like you to have a look yourselves.
We still have some work to do, but are working hard at these updates
Here's looking forward to seeing you at the site.

Hi BillyBigalow
We have many sales on a daily basis, although many of the user here are registered very few have listed anything yet.
I will say at the minute though because we don’t have the Bulk uploader in place or the import your items from other sites, users are a little unsure how far the site will go and are not sure if they will be wasting time listing.
But I can assure you, we will have the Bulk uploader ready in the next few days, and the import your listings from other sites within the week.
This will help as will the ads we are placing and hopefully if the users push the site via email and also there own blogs etc.
Hope this helps

Hi everyone,
We have now got our new listing pages live.
https://www.cheekyoffer.com/index.php?do=itemdetail&id=2179
And we are working on the import your listings from other sites. This we are hopping will be fully tested and operational within the next 7-10 days.
We will also have the Bulk uploader completely tested and ready for use on Friday 23rd April.
We are working on loads of new products and updates to the site and will have a great new section ready in 14 days.
This is where you have a product or service to offer with a great discount. You place the item with a description on the site with the RRP and the Price you are selling for, this will show the user how much discount they are getting for this one of sale that you are having, with a time that it is available for. After that time (only 48hours allowed) has elapsed the great offer is gone for ever.
See the link:
http://www.cheekyoffer.com/cheekybanner/specialofferpage.JPG
We are also working really hard on many other aspects that will make this site a real alternative. Such as the “No registration to buy” this will allow browser to make purchases without the need to register with the site. They will pay the seller for the goods much like they would if out shopping in the high street.
Don’t forget to pop along and have a look at how we are growing and the improvements we are constantly making.
Thanks for reading
Best regards
John

Hi dannylbrooke
Thanks for registering.
At the moment we only have 6 templates for the store, plus the blank. At this moment in time we are unable to offer you others, although this is one area we will be working on in the future.
So please for the time being bare with us.
Thanks and Best regards

Hello there everyone.
Just a quick update as to how we are progressing
Over the past few months we have implementing many new features within the site. Making it easy for you all to list and placing some great new features on the site.
We do all of this and keep in mind that people want an easy to use and a great looking listing page and site. Along with lots of traffic lots of sales and lots of money on your pocket now ours, like many other/
We have added some fantastic features, like the Facebook share facility. This allows you to share your listings with all of your friends on FB and also allows them to share it with all of there friends. A simple way to give great exposure to your product. We are adding the twitter share in the coming days.
We are now also submitting all listings to Google base via a merchant account. This also give you allot of exposure. Although, we are unable to control whether Google actually places your items on, but we will continue to push them there.
Please feel free to view a listing on the site to see how we have moved on and perhaps to give some of your feedback.

Thanks and take care
