Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good shopping cart? I have been using auctiva so far but it's very basic and you have to go through their support if you want to put codes on your site.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Lots of opensource carts

www.zencart.com
www.prestashop.com
Cubecart.com
www.opencart.com

Get yourself some decent hosting and away you go.

BTW do you know you dont own the domain you are using ?

Thanks for the answer. No, I did not know that until you pointed it out to me. I purchased my domain through Auctiva and I assumed that they would register the domain in my name (since I paid for it). I will email auctiva to see what's going on. Thanks again.

Dear Forbiddenpath,

There are lots of good shopping carts. Which one is good for you depends on what you want from shopping cart.

Regards, Alt-team.

You trying to spam this forum again, you tried once before - AJSquare is a horrendous company who's service has been pathetic on bug ridden software.
Buy this at your peril - and yes I can back up my views on the company

Do you really want to be associated with a company that produces HYIP and MLM software ?

I'm a big fan of BigCommerce and Shopify. They're both paid alternatives, but they sure are worth the cost. Especially considering the ease of use - and the beautiful store designs that comes standard.

We support many shopping carts and amongst the most popular with our merchants is: Magento, OpenCart, Zen Cart, osCommerce, ekmPowershop, Actinic and VirtueMart. We have also recently added payment modules for: Interspire, Free Webstore, Store Sprite, Miiduu and Tomato Cart.

The full list of carts we support can be found on our website so feel free to use this list to check out various shopping carts

Hi there,

Everyone is going to give you a different Cart that they like. I think that Zen Cart is popular on this forum.

But I use opencart.com.
