My question is this, how do i go about importing from other countries to the UK?

I have read so many sites and still cant make head nor tail of it all so i was wondering if someone would give me a step by step guide if possible

Thanks in advance

Like your website and with the products your selling you more likely want to import from China ,USA or Poland ?

All the above would be different costs and paperwork involved.

Deputy Dog is right it can depend on the country. Some of the overseas companies give the paperwork to the carrier and there is nothing to do at this end but pay the duty and VAT.

You've probably seen it but I'll post it as it might be useful to someone, HMRC's pages on Import and Export http://customs.hmrc.gov.uk/channelsPortalWebApp/channelsPortalWebApp.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=pageImport_Home

Poland is more likely to be the easiest to import from as its in Europe and less paperwork.

The only thing with some suppliers in Poland ,they say the items are made in Poland but as most things the items are actually made in China and the company in Poland just rebrand in their own packaging.
